unravel the story
Portal Technology is developing rapidly in Tenshi Town and Nyo Yak City. A Mad Mage recently stole valuable research papers from a leading institute studying portals, the JRI, and has started opening up unstable portals which are pulling in people from other universes.
Help the JRI collect information about these portals, send people back home, and most importantly track down the Mad Mage.
where to start
Our main station is in the Gym, behind Artist Alley. There will be signs leading to our location. You can approach any staff and we'll help you get started.
completing quests
You will be taking on Quests, which will eventually lead you to finding the Mad Mage. Solve the challenges presented to you and untangle the mysteries of portal technology and multiversal travel.To accept and complete quests, you'll need to explore Ronin-Expo to discover clues, solve riddles, and find NPCs to interact with.
quest rewards
When you complete quests, one of the rewards you might get is Task Credit. Credits (for short), are raffle tickets and can be used to redeem prizes.[Patrons Only] Another reward you may receive is EXP, which are stamps that allow you to "Rank up" to the next Rank when you collect enough of them. More rewards await Adventurers who achieve higher ranks!

revealing the mad mage
Join us at Ronin-Expo's Main Stage at 6:15pm as Traversing the Roninverse comes to a close. We'll be performing a skit that reveals who among our characters is the Mad Mage and pull the lucky winners of our raffles.

Portal technology
Portal Technology is developing rapidly and contributing to the flourishing trade between Tenshi Town and Nyo Yak City. Portals are used travel the multiverse, from one point to another.
the jri
The Jinjinya Research Institute, or JRI for short, is located in Tenshi Town and is the leading institute researching portal technology. Part of the JRI is the TOP team, or Tenshi Open Portal team.
the mad mage
A Mad Mage was part of the JRI but stole valuable research papers from the institute. This mage has been opening up unstable portals which are pulling in people from other universes, also known as PUPs.
pups
PUPs or Persons Unwillingly Portaled, are people who have been pulled in from other universes via the portals the Mad Mage has been opening. These people are often characters from other universes, such as anime.

Located in Nyo Yak City, the NYCAA, or Nyo Yak City Arts Academy, practices all forms of performance. Part of this academy is the famed Belladonna, a ✨super star✨ celebrity dance influencer.
Prop Portal is a proposition to open more portals in Nyo Yak City. Its supporters, such as Belladonna, say to vote YES to increase portals that will lessen traffic, make traveling easier, and more.
nyo's wares
Located in Nyo Yak City, Nyo's Wares sells a variety of goods, including electric fans, hand fans, hair accessories, among many other goods.

What is ‘Traversing the Roninverse’?
‘Traversing the Roninverse’ is an activity hosted at Ronin-Expo 2023 by the event group Summoner’s Stories! It is an interactive live adventure game experience, that features a story and cast of characters.
Is ‘Traversing the Roninverse’ free to play?
At its most basic level, ‘Traversing the Roninverse’ is a free add-on experience to the Ronin-Expo environment! Feel free to speak with our characters (NPCs) and get to know them. If you’re lucky, some may even have asks that they’ll reward you for, if completed.However, you do need to purchase separate entry to Ronin-Expo in order to participate at any level, since we are hosted within their venue.Please note that while the free experience is limited, you can become a Patron to gain access to an expanded storyline for Pre-registering and donating a set amount and. This includes a physical stamp card, 6+ quests, and pre-set rewards.We recommend pre-registering for the full experience since we have limited materials.We are a self-funded not-for-profit volunteer-run event planning group and appreciate your support! Donations help offset our costs and bring more experiences to the anime and gaming community!
Should I pre-register? Can't i register on-Site?
On-site registration for the full storyline is available, but because materials are limited and spots are not guaranteed, we recommend Pre-registering!Additionally, pre-registering allows us to plan ahead for the event. By having Adventurers sign up and pre-select their package, we can streamline on-site registration and get adventurers started ASAP! After all, most of our redemption rewards are first come first serve, so the head start helps!As a bonus for being proactive, pre-registrants all get +1 bonus Credit and a lower donation price per tier!Note - free quests do not require pre-registration and can be encountered by luck or interaction at the event. Thus, only patron packages are eligible for pre-registration perks.
What are credits?
Credits are our in-game soft currency. They come in the physical form of a raffle double ticket. Adventurers will be earning these as they complete tasks within our storyline. They can be used to redeem prizing (do not tear them if being used for a redemption)!
What are the prizes?

However, we will have stickers, lanyards badge reels, and more fun items at our booth.If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll even snag an EPIC prize!You’ll be able to check out the prizes at our main booth on the day of the event!
